Description

We're looking for DevOps Engineer who is a quick learner, dedicated to dev-team success, efficiently communicates, maintaining, and consistently improving DevOps practices.

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Automate micro-services deployments across environments with CI/CD

  • Ensure production environment's reliability, security, and resilience

  • Adhere to GitOps and “Infrastructure as Code” practices to create reproducible infrastructure

  • Manage and improve cloud infrastructure, monitoring, backup, log and error reporting systems

  • Create and maintain clear documentation in English

 

Requirements

  • Proven experience with Kubernetes, Gitlab CI & Linux systems

  • Proven experience with CI/CD practices and supporting development teams

  • Strong analytical, learning, and troubleshooting skills

  • Coding skills in at least one scripting language (e.g., Bash, Python, etc) 

  • Acceptable English (reading, technical writing)

 

1st-Month Objectives

  1. Learn existing infrastructure and practices

  2. Identify and cover knowledge gaps

  3. Set up a production environment replica

 

Next 6-Month Objectives 

  1. Assist development team with CI/CD tasks

  2. Migrate to Gitlab Kubernetes Agent

  3. Migrate standalone Helm charts to be dependent on a master sub-chart

  4. Write and maintain clear documentation
