QA Engineer Automation

Description

We're looking for a QA Engineer with a product mindset and strong remote-work skills. Currently there is a manual QA Engineer, but we’re looking to implement automation to our mobile apps, web and API.

Key Responsibilities 

• Designing and implementing automated test cases, including REST API’s

• Work with the engineering team, dev ops, and product owners to develop acceptance criteria, test strategy, and test cases

• Plan, organize, and control all test activities to meet defined test goals

• Actively participate in scrum meetings, plannings, and release processes 

• Create and maintain test documentation in English

Requirements

• Proven 1+ years of experience in automation testing

• Knowledge of testing methodologies and test design techniques

• Knowledge of one of such programming languages — Python or Java

• Product mindset, strong learning, research and troubleshooting skills

• Acceptable English (reading, technical writing) 

1st-month objectives

1. Learn current products, documentation and test cases

2. Prepare internal roadmap/list of aut.cases

3. Write first test

Next 6 month objectives 

1. Write automated tests to cover major scenarios

2. Write and maintain clear documentation
